"Our public schools are only as good as the public they serve", Dr. Edward J. Bloustein, President of Rutgers University, observed thirty years ago. Throughout its twenty-two years of existence, the Atlantic City Education Foundation has worked to link the community with the Atlantic City school system in a positive, pro-active fashion.
The Foundation’s logo shows a cluster of three childrens' building blocks with these words printed on six sides: SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY, STUDENTS, GOVERNMENT, BUSINESS, and PARENTS. And these six components are indeed, the essential building blocks of a dynamic and vital school system that we strive to promote.
