Each year, the Foundation awards scholarships to graduating Atlantic City High School students who will pursue learning after high school – 4 year colleges, community colleges and trade schools. The requirements are simple – a Grade Point Average of 2.5 or better with a copy of school transcript, recommendations from two teachers or administrators, a short essay that details school and community involvement and career goals and a list of schools applied to and acceptance letter, if received. The scholarship will be awarded at the Recognition Luncheon.

Creative ideas get the attention of the Atlantic City Education Foundation review team! Most mini-grants are in the range of four to six hundred dollars and are awarded in January of each year. Requirements are reasonably simple – a program description with goals and objectives that connect the project to New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards; a listing of any skills that the students will develop; a project overview giving timelines and what form the final report will take; an expense budget; and certification by the school principal. Please be sure to provide a NAME and description of your project or program. A final report is due by the end of the school year.
